PRP Hair Restoration
PRP Hair Restoration is a natural treatment that encourages new hair growth without surgery. By harvesting the growth factors in your own blood, we can encourage dormant follicles. The regenerative procedure is effective for both men and women, resulting in thicker, more beautiful hair.

Understanding PRP Hair Restoration
How does PRP hair restoration work?
Your blood is drawn and then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is rich in proteins and growth factors. After the scalp area is numbed, the platelet-rich plasma is applied directly onto the scalp. Next, our medical professional performs a microneedling procedure, which creates microscopic punctures to absorb the plasma, which is also injected into key areas of the scalp. The platelets stimulate hair-follicle activity to re-grow hair over the weeks and months ahead. Usually four or more treatments are recommended. Our healthcare professionals can discuss how many treatments are right for you.
Are there any side effects?
Because PRP therapy involves injecting your own blood into your scalp, you aren’t at risk for getting a communicable disease.
Still, any therapy that involves injections always carries a risk of side effects such as:
There’s also the chance that you could have a negative reaction to the anesthetic used in the therapy. If you decide to pursue PRP therapy for hair loss, let us know in advance about your tolerance to anesthetics.
How many treatments will I need?
PRP therapy typically consists of three treatments in a 4–6 week period, with maintenance treatments every 4–6 months
Is PRP used instead of other therapies?
When will I see results?
You will begin to notice new hair growth within 4-6 weeks of completing the initial 3-injection cycle.
How long will the results last?
PRP is not a cure for conditions that cause hair loss. For this reason, a person would need to receive multiple PRP treatments over time to maintain hair growth results. The same is true of medications that doctors commonly use to treat androgenetic alopecia, such as topical minoxidil (Regaine) and oral finasteride (Propecia).
